16. Traffic in the residential zones

16.1.  In the residential zones marked by sign 5.30, pedestrians may use sidewalks and even carriageways. Pedestrians have priority of moving in the residential zones. However, it is prohibited for them to obstacle the vehicle traffic intentionally.

16.2.  As for the traffic in residential zones, it is prohibited to exceed the speed of 20 km per hour for any vehicle, conduct training driving, stand vehicles with switched-on engines for long time. Besides, it is prohibited to park goods vehicles with the permissible maximum mass of more than 3.5 ton in areas other than especially indicated parking places marked with additional signs.

16.3.  Drivers coming out from the residential zones and joining to a road should give way to other road users.
