RULES OF THE ROAD OF MONGOLIA

18. Driving in columns

18.1.  Columns are led by a nominated leader.

18.2.  The leader defines the speed and distance between vehicles according to the road and climatic conditions. However, the speed should not exceed the limit mentioned in 9.3 of these rules.

Columns should move through the most right-hand side lane of the carriageway except the case of overtaking, driving around and taking a position for turning to the left-hand side or making a U-turn.

18.3.  Other drivers should give way to the column on the narrow sections of the road (if the order is not defined by signs).

18.4.  If the column is guarded by a vehicle operating special luminous and audible warning devices, this vehicle should lead the column and may use the provisions of 2.4 of these rules.
